DODGE CITY J. Morris Free Al's Review I'm a cowboy... on a Steel horse I ride... I'm wanted.... dead or aliiiiiive... Well howdy good folks, didn't see ya there. Just singin' one of my favourite li'l cowboy ditties back there, while I eat my beans round the camp fire and talk toot to my old dog Bessie. It's mighty handy you happened across me though, strangers, as it gives me chance to spin y'all a yarn about my life here in Dodge City. So sit a spell and let me enlighten ya... I'm the sheriff of this little town, have been for many a year now. Every day I have to carry out my duties in my good oldfashioned schooner. Yeah, that's right, I got me a schooner. A strange thing for a cowboy to have you might think, especially since the nearest body of water is 150 miles away from this dry old gulch. Anyways the old girl serves me well and gets me round town just dandy-like. Which is surprising really, now I come to think of it... Y'see, the fair town of Dodge City... alright it's a city I guess... has lately been overrun by these here Morg things... strange red creatures that look a lot like them alieeeens they got in neighbouring Roswell. I gots to shoot them critters down before they really run amok. I also like to shoot pesky pink tumbleweeds to wile away all those lonely hours I got ever since my last wife left me, but that's a whole other story for another time. Maybe the sequel. Sometimes I make life harder for myself and drink a few shots of rye before I go cruising in my schooner, kinda raising the difficulty level for myself if you will. Tends to make for a more playable... I mean exciting, experience. Them days can get a little samey though, but I do enjoy the shootin' life nevertheless, it's a whole heap of rootin' tootin' fun for a cowboy stereotype like me. Anyways, my work's done for the day, so it's off to the Boriel Basic Bar for me, time to get well and truly redefined off of my head. Y'all come back this way sometime, y'hear...
