Your Sinclair

Steve Adams

HARD FACTS SPECIAL Are you having a hard time choosing the right hardware? Hard but Steve Adams has the lowdown on the latest hardware. And it's all under £100. JOYBALL Euromax £24.95 Reviewer: Steve Adams Oh wow! What can one say? This blue blob balanced on a black base is a bit different in design to your average joystick. Of the four fire buttons on the base, two can be used normally and the other two can be used for rapid fire. Not only that, you can also select either slow or fast fire, though this probably isn't that useful when used with games that don't respond to auto-fire. It's extremely stable and you can get a good grip, though it's not very responsive when compared to a standard stick. It looks tough but I have a feeling it wouldn't last long in the hands of some games players!
